Felicia Appenteng

Felicia Appenteng is the External Relations Coordinator in the Dean's Office of the IE School of Arts and Humanities

She graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, with a bachelors degree in the College of Letters, with honors. 

The College of Letters is an interdisciplinary major that combines the study of history, literature, language and philosophy starting in Antiquity and ending in the 20th Century.  Her senior thesis was written about Alfonso X, El Sabio and was titled, "The Wings of Legacy."  She wrote about the relationship between Alfonso X and the Virgin Mary and how he utilized her to create his own kingship legacy as seen in the Cantigas de Santa Maria. 

While at Wesleyan, she was a part of the women's crew team, Wesleyan without Borders, a student group which partners with NGOs in order to work with community identified needs abroad, Best Buddies, a group that pairs college students with adults with mental disorders to create a spirit of companionship, Residential Life, a part of the university which is dedicated to create a safe and progressive environment for students.
